Tonight, Salt Lake City is honored to host Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes at the always-free Twilight Concert Series, and City Dogs will be there once again.
As usual, we’ll have the best deal at Twilight, the Five Dollar Rockstar Deal–which is a Rockstar energy drink and a hotdog for only $5. We’ll also be serving beer brats, Italian Sausages, cream-filled dessert cake Dillos from SLC’s Cakewalk Baking and vegan, organic, raw chocolate ice cream from SLC’s Chocolate Conspiracy.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes’ biggest hit was the theme to Where the Wild Things Are, called “Home.”
We want to highlight another song, however, called “Let’s Win,” by Alexander Ebert, the band leader of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. The video was shot here in beautiful Salt Lake City in February when band was in town to support environmental activist Tim DeChristopher during his trial. If you missed the rallies and marches, here’s a good chance to get a taste. Keeping up the radically good vibes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes played an intimate show at the Peaceful Uprising warehouse last night as a fundraiser–it was tons of fun.
So, we’ll see you tonight (we’re in the northwest corner of Pioneer Park, around 400 West 300 South!). Here’s “Let’s Win.”
